Roger co-founded the Nashville Jazz Workshop in 1998. He served as Executive Directors and Artistic Director for over 27 years. Roger is currently taking private students in jazz bass, ensemble training, jazz theory, improvisation and production. He has extensive resume of artists he has worked with. Such as Beegie Adair (25 years and 36 Trio albums), Bill Holman, Les Brown and his Band of Renown, Harry James, Louie Belson, Eddie Lockjaw Davis, Carl Fontana, Page Cavanaugh, Bobby Enriquez, Alphonse Mouzon, Sam Butera and the Witnesses, Ray Coniff, Rosemary Clooney, Peggy Lee, Mel Torme, Sammy Davis Jr, Kay Starr, Herb Jefferies, Barbara Cook, Bernedette Peters just to name a few!
